Louis Lemieux has a BSc in Physics from University of Montreal (Canada), MSc in Physics from University of Toronto (Canada) and PhD in Physics from University of Montreal. He is professor of Physics Applied to Medicine at UCL, London, UK and is the author of more than 150 articles in international peer-reviewed journals in the field of neuroimaging and electrophysiology, mostly applied to the study of epilepsy.

David Carmichael has a MSci in physics and a PhD in MRI physics from University College London. He is currently a Reader (North American equivalent: professor) in Magnetic Resonance Physics at King's College London (previously at UCL's Institute of Child Health) and has authored more than 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals in the field of MRI imaging and related subjects. He has published several highly cited articles relating to MR safety.
